I enjoyed cakes with my Mom and aunt. We were satisfied with everything.

I love their desserts they’re amazing and the drinks are great as well. However I’ve had multiple incidences in the past where one of the staff members was extremely rude. I don’t like the play the race card but when I go into this establishment and see how other customers are treated versus how I was treated/talked to, it’s made me very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was willing to let this go as I gave them the benefit of the doubt as to maybe it was a fluke. However, I have now heard from multiple people that they’ve had similar experiences as to when someone who is non-white comes in. Again, it’s not the establishments fault, the food and drinks are amazing but it can’t go unnoticed with how the customer service went with this worker there.

Absolutely delicious desserts and the place is so beautiful, the update from the old location is unreal!Service was excellent.Lots of cozy and comfortable seating.Will be back lots!!

Really nice atmosphere. Cheesecake was very good! My friend had the carrot cake, I tried it and would get it next time, it was incredible.

Tried purchasing flavored cheesecake tarts for a staff birthday on the phone and was surprised when I was told that I was to pick my flavors when I pick them up. When I got there they weren't what I was hoping for and the lady at the counter couldn't wait to get rid of me when I mentioned that I had been expecting something different as we have had amazing flavored cheesecake tarts delivered to our office before and I was not expecting to have to put a puree on them myself and only 6 options for flavors. I will know next time what to ask for. Nevertheless, the plain tarts are delicious but I expected better customer service over the phone and a nicer attitude upon pick up

Great sandwiches, great desserts and I had a mocha which was very good! The place is bright and cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly! I will be back for sure

The mocha log cake is the best cake I have EVER had. However the last 6-8 times we have visited or called they do not have it that day. Seems like it is rarely there :( but if it ever is you have to try it!

I was so happy I found a place where I can indulge in a dessert that suites my style of eating (keto). The cheesecake I've had has been good, and they offer different flavours on different days (would be nice to have a choice on a daily basis). I'm taking away a star due to the customer service. I've never been treated "rudely", but never, on any occasion I've visited the store, have I gotten the impression anybody there likes their job. There is no warmth or friendliness. No smiles. It's like dealing with a strictly business transaction. Good thing the food is good or I wouldn't continue going there.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Quiet place to talk over coffee with competing with background din. Delicious, but overpriced desserts. A 7$ slice of pie should contain fresh apples. Inefficient cash register line. Too many dirty tables. Extremely slow-moving but friendly staff.

Absolutely delicious cheesecakes! Great spot to meet up for coffee and cake. Also good to grab a piece or two to take home. There has been no cheesecake flavor that I haven't liked. Their mint chocolate and banana chocolate brownie are two of my favorites. In this picture there is an iced mocha and caramel cheesecake. I would totally give it 5 stars however, many times I have gone in the girls working are not happy or welcoming. Even when I have smiled and tried to make them laugh it's just a straight face no expression. Maybe I'm catching them at bad times but ladies smile a little. Despite this I will always be back because the cheesecake is that delicious!

Dessert was so good! The place is very popular and it was busy,but the girls working were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Me and my wife both commented that they were working very hard to help everyone as quickly as they could. Worth checking out for sure! Try the Vancouver cheesecake with raspberry sauce.

Love the new location! Tons of seating and booths too. The best raspberry crandberry scone I have had! I think the staff are great, especially with how busy it gets. Keep up the good work. Haters need to eat more cake.

They haven't got a flat white on the menu yet but were willing to make it following my suggestions.

You’d expect with a new location comes good or better service, but not in this case. Waited in line behind a group of indecisive customers who kindly told me to go ahead as I knew what I wanted and had to get going. Told the lady working, this is the cake I want, to go. Walked over to the counter to pay and she acted as if she had no idea what I was doing there (waiting to pay). Ended up back in line behind said group only for the lady at the cash register to mess up their payment leading me to wait even longer. Completely unprofessional and extremely rude staff.

Really nice staff and service. The food and desserts taste really good. I would even say that I prefer the coffee here over the coffee at Starbucks. This is a nice Cafe if you need to study too.

I come here every Friday and get a piece of cheesecake for myself and a piece of tall cake for my boyfriend. Best desserts around!! Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake is to die for 🤤

Awesome place to go for more than just cake and pie. The wraps and meat and cheese pie are good. Great coffee, latte's and Americano's as well. The deserts are so good when you're waiting in line don't be surprised if you change your mind on what you want at least 3 times before you place your order as everything looks so good. Try not to drool on the glass while looking at the cakes, pies, and cheese cakes. Get the scoop of ice cream on the side.

Absolutely the best cheesecake in the Fraser Valley! They a wide range of different cakes and pies to choose from and with a warm comfy environment for you to enjoy your dessert. If you order a Vancouver style cheesecake, there's different toppings available with your cake. Definitely would recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth after dinner.

This is the place to go, if you are looking for an after-supper treat! I had the apple and rhubarb pie and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was pretty big too (felt bad that I couldn’t fit every morsel in, which is rare for me!). Husband had the Black Forest gateau - assume it was good but there was none available for sharing!! Relaxed atmosphere and decent drinks too.

Best cheesecake in town! Love the atmosphere, people of all ages. The samosa rolls are amazing if you want to try something other than cake ! Great for a late night treat or even coffee/tea. They make a fabulous blueberry London fog. The staff are always happy and smiling. Makes for a enjoyable experience.

The Vancouver cheesecake was absolutely delicious. My mocha was really great as well.Workers were polite and helpful.I give credit to them, it was very busy when we went in and it’s unbelievable the amount of rude customers we experienced ahead of us. Absolutely no respect for these girls working their butts off! So sad to see. Keep up the good work afterthoughts staff.You’re doing amazing and the new place looks incredible!

Okay place to eat cheesecake. Cheesecake is my favourite dessert so when I ate here I was pretty disappointed. Most of my friends say this has amazing cheesecake so maybe go by their reviews. They have an assortment of flavours that change, but The place itself does not feel clean or cozy. Also some of their food just tastes like fridge.

Awesome , my favorite place for desert. Only I wish they would also keep gluten free chicken roll.I could have my lunch also .

Now I know where to go for excellent coffee and baked goods (and service) when I'm in town. Forget about the mainstream brands, come here! Also, very good selection of coffee and baked goods.

Absolutely LOVE the new location ... a great space, less cluttered, and a clean, open feel. My wife & I have always known that the food is first rate, and now they have a facility to match. I have a feeling that this will be our new go-to on weekends for sure.

Good customer service, quick and dessert tasted delicious

The new location is really beautiful and the staff were very patient and friendly. My kids were taking a long time deciding but the girl working was being very kind and helpful while they decided what they wanted.I was sitting next to a group of older ladies who were talking loudly about how the new place isn’t as cozy and is too noisy, but I thought the complete opposite. It is a very warm environment and so much better than the stuffy feeling of the old location.I would go and see for yourself before listening to any silly chit chat from those who aren’t open to change :)

Love the new location and the food and coffee were great! It was a little confusing getting our food vs. drinks but we figured it out :)

Excellent customer service, the booth seats are comfortable and the cheese cakes are fresh, delicious and have new flavours every visit.

I’ve been to the new location twice now and I love it! I love the open concept and how much more seating there is. They now even have a display case just for keto and gluten free options! The cheesecake is delicious as always

Went there tonight to have my favourite cheese cake .. only to be told they were "done" selling plain cheese cake for the night . Not that they were sold out... saw cheese cakes in the back on a rack.. they were just not cut up .. so sad and disapointed on this valentines day .. they were my nornal go to place for cheese cake ..

For the last few years we have been regular customers at your South Fraserway location and have taken friends there. We looked forward to visiting your new location, but today were very disappointed. The coffee was lukewarm, and the cup overfilled which made it difficult to take to the table. However the Herb and cheese scone which cost $2.95 was not edible and we returned it to staff. In addition the person serving and collecting payment simply said there was nothing she could do, and they were still working out the kinks. A $10 disappointment, but a sad surprise. We hope it soon returns to the customer oriented high quality we had come to expect.

I have been going to Afterthoughts for several years, It's my go to place for dessert and coffee. The new location is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and the desserts are decadent as always!

Friendly service, and the cake selections is pretty good. The carrot cake was huge and tasty, and the Vancouver Cheese cake is very consistent and good too. My key issue is the cost. 3 slices of cake cost me $25, which is crazy! Options in Abby are pretty limited in the late evening though, so I don’t blame them for taking advantage. Hope they update their seating in their new location because the sofas really need to be replaced as well.

Went in to get an 2 Italian sodas and they were swamped. After we ordered and got our drinks we left. When we did take a sip we found flavoured.water with absolutely no soda fizz in the drinks. Very very unimpressed. They were closed when we didntaste our drinks so we couldn't go back to complain.

New location is very well decorated and it feels much nicer. The dessert is as good as always!

Horrible service! Rude staff that are unprofessional. I've been going here for years because I love the cakes but the staff have the worse attitude. I've had cake orders that weren't placed, when arriving for pickup there was no cake and they refused to provide one. They require 48 hours or they penalize you by charging per slice but when they make a mistake they have nothing to say. TRAIN your staff! They don't know how to speak to customers and your service is still awful. Doesn't matter if you have a good product, if your service is awful it's a matter of time until you lose loyal customers. It's a shame because the owner is actually nice but seems she's busy in the back and her staff take advantage. Very disappointed

Beautiful new location and super friendly welcoming staff. The carrot cake I had was the best I’ve ever had. Delicious London fog as well.Can’t wait to come back and try more!
